Dr. Ghulam Nabi Zaland M.D.
He is a medical doctor with over ten years of professional and academic experience in Jamhuriyat Hospital/Afghanistan, Selçuk University/Turkey, and Ghalib University/Afghanistan respectively. After graduating from the Herat Medical Faculty of Herat University, he started his work as a general practitioner doctor voluntarily in Shindand District Hospital. Later, he passed the General Surgery Speciality Training Entrance Exam and started his professional work as a general surgery resident at Jamhuriyat Hospital in Kabul. Further, as a PGY 5 resident of general surgery, he achieved a scholarship to pursue a PhD on Human Clinical Anatomy at the Selçuk University/Turkey. After passing a one-year language preparation called TöMer in the Turkish Language, he has passed 24 academic courses (33 credits) with a total percentage of 93,87% and submitted two seminars during his studies successfully. Moreover, he has passed the Ph.D. proficiency exam and defended his dissertation proposal. He is also well trained in CT angiography in the Radiology Department of Selcuk University Hospital. Finally, he has collected all the needed research data and currently, he is preparing to defend his dissertation in a few months and works as an anatomy lecturer in the Medical Faculty of Ghalib University.
